You probably can’t come up with a list of the best NBA All-Star Game halftime shows (in fact, I’d be impressed if you could even name one past performer), but this weekend’s jam fest will have a musical interlude featuring Rihanna and Lenny Kraviz. Now here’s the part where you should start caring:
Citing an “in-the-know tipster,” Deadspin reports that Kanye West will join Rihanna for a performance of My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy‘s “All of the Lights”. The rumor has actually been circulating for a few weeks, and it makes sense considering West’s All-Star Game presence already extends into a short film with Kobe Bryant. “All of the Lights” is also set to be the album’s third single, with a star-studded music video said to be shortcoming.
The NBA has not yet confirmed Kanye’s appearance, so you’re best bet is to just turn on TNT at 7pm EST Sunday night. Hell, it’s not like the game is all that bad. Maybe Shaq will even do some dancing.
