Remember when Pavement announced those four shows in Central park last year, and everyone bought tickets right away? Then the band proceeded to schedule shows all across the globe — including one just a few miles away in Brooklyn — which basically made those tickets seem way less special? Not saying that will also be the case for Jeff Mangum‘s forthcoming duo of concerts in Asbury Park, NJ, but the former Neutral Milk Hotel frontman did just take away “I’ll Be Your Mirror”‘s claim that they will be “his first large public show of Neutral Milk Hotel songs in over a decade.”

As BrooklynVegan reports, the NJ shows “will be at least his 3rd or 4th now,” as Mangum has just announced plans for two additional shows for early September. On Saturday, September 10th, he’ll play the 1,050-capacity Jordan Hall at New England Conservatory in Boston; and on Friday, September 9th, at an historic 1,150-capacity venue to be announced next week.

Tickets for these concerts will cost $35, with the Jordan Hall show set to go on sale February 26th via the website’s box office (a pre-sale will also take place one day earlier.) On-sale information for the 9/9 show is still forthcoming.

And right when we were about to hit publish, this came across the Twitter: Mangum is also set to headline and curate one of two weekends of this year’s ATP UK. The festival runs December 2-4 in Minehead, England, and will also see Superchunk, The Olivia Tremor Control, The Raincoats, The Apples in Stereo, and 40 other acts playing across three indoor stages to a capacity of 5,500 people. Mangum will perform multiple sets in the more intimate Centre Stage venue, although entry to only one show is guaranteed.

Tickets for ATP Curated by Jeff Mangum are priced at £170.00pp for room only and £180.00pp for self catering. A public on-sale is set for February 18th at 9am via www.seetickets.com.

Update: Hey, even more Mangum dates! He’s also scheduled shows for Toronto, New York, and Jersey City, reports Pitchfork.
