From Pearl Jam to String Cheese Incident to DMB, lots of bands are hosting their very own weekend shindigs this summer. So too are the legendary Roots, as they have for the last three years in their hometown Philadelphia. For the fourth edition of Roots Picnic, set to take place June 4th at Penn’s Landing, Jimmy Fallon’s late night support cast will welcome the likes of Nas, The Dismemberment Plan, Wiz Khalifa, Ariel Pink, Man Man, and Grammy winner Esperanza Spalding. The Roots will also headline a set, and back Nas and Spalding for their sets, as well

Other confirmed acts for this year’s Picnic include Mac Miller, Yelawolf, Little Dragon, Nicos Gun, and Donn T. Plus, The Roots’ Black Thought and J. Period will perform a live mixtape.
