Prior to joining forces with the likes of Jane’s Addiction, The Killers, and Kanye at the inaugural Lollapalooza Chile this weekend, Norway electro-rockers Datarock have unveiled what they’ve been working on since the release of 2009′s Red. Along with the previously announced 4GB single “Catcher in the Rye”, Fredrick Saroea and Ketil Masnes have dropped a five-track EP called California as well as and the remix compilation entitled Amarillion.

According to a press release, California contains excerpts from the forthcoming opus, DATAROCK – the musical!, which is currently without a release date. The six-track Amarillion features the original title track, which first appeared on Red, as well as five remixes. Both tracklists can be found below.

All the tracks are currently available at iTunes, but the duo have also made the EPs readily available for streaming across the net. Listen to Amarillion here, then proceed to AOL Spinner for the California EP.
