Last week, Ryan Adams revealed that he’s hard at work with producer Glyn Johns on his first new studio album since 2008′s Cardinology. While scouring the Google machine for any additional scraps/details, we came upon two clips featuring the acclaimed singer-songwriter debuting new material. They’re taken from Adams’ October 2010 performance at a charity gig hosted by Judd Apatow and Dave Eggers, and according to photographer Farhad Parsa, the songs are titled “Dirty Rain” and “Ashes of Fire” (click on the respective links to stream ‘em).

Both clips are partial in length, but pretty clear audiowise. However, we should note that since Adams has yet to reveal the tracklist for his forthcoming album, there’s no confirmation whether either of these tracks will make the final cut. Also remember that Adams’ collection of unreleased music is almost as infamous as the stuff actually on shelves.
