While the last few months have seen members of Man Man busy schlepping pianos and starting groups with Michael Cera, the Philly-based outfit is getting back to the normal order of things with a lengthy spring tour (via Pitchfork). The band will begin their touring activity by supporting Bright Eyes at the Ground Control Showcase during this year’s South by Southwest in Austin, Texas. Then, come the end of April, Man Man hit North America hard with a slew of dates in New Orleans, LA, San Diego, CA, Vancouver, BC, Portland, OR, Chicago, IL, and beyond before wrapping up on June 11th for Bonnaroo. Man Man will also be dropping their new album, Life Fantastic, with production and mixing by Bright Eyes’ Mike Mogis, sometime in 2011. Stay tuned for more details on that LP as it’s announced.
