Washington-based rock warriors the Melvins will look to expand on their recent sold out residency in LA when they hit the road this spring for a six-city U.S. tour. Each stop will include back-to-back performances featuring two sets each. The first night will see the band performing songs from 1991′s Egg Nog and 1992′s Lysol followed by a second set of music from 1993′s Houdini. The second night will feature the music of 1991′s Bullhead for the first set and 1994′s Stoner Witch for the second.
Kicking off in Seattle on May 13th and 14th, the Melvins will then hit San Francisco, Austin, Chicago, and Boston before wrapping up in Brooklyn a little less than a month later. The concerts will feature no opener.
Also of note is the forthcoming release of the band’s live album, Sugar Daddy Live, which will drop May 31st release via Ipecac Recordings.
