Watch: Jeff Tweedy plays new song live

“I was born to die alone,” sings Jeff Tweedy, longtime frontman for Wilco. This new song, played at L’Olympia in Montreal on March 25th, paddles down the rivers of Tweedy’s past with lyrics like “subtract the silence of myself” and sounds like a beautiful, melancholic tune that may or may end up on Wilco’s forthcoming 8th LP. Tweedy finishes up his solo tour this week, and will head out with the band for some south-east dates in May, before heading to Sasquatch!, and their very own Solid Sound Festival.
