Yo La Tengo reenacting Seinfeld episodes has proved so successful that they’ll continue to do so into the summer. The Hoboken, NJ-based indie rockers have just added another batch of “Spinning Wheel” tour date, beginning with two shows in Brooklyn on May 10th and 11th. The formula remains the same: the band will determine the first-half of their 90-minute set via a giant spinning wheel, with possible outcomes ranging from acting out a classic sitcom to playing songs that only begin with the letter “s.” The second half with then feature songs of the band’s choosing.

After Brooklyn, Yo La Tengo will play a leg worth of U.K. shows; the title of this portion is “Reinventing The Wheel”, but the same concept applies. Then, starting June 18th in Denver, CO, the band will return stateside for a two-week trek that will see then them hit midwest hotspots like Iowa City, Minneapolis, and Chicago.
