With an appearance at one summer music festival already confirmed and another likely coming tonight, Arctic Monkeys have announced additional U.S. headlining dates for this summer. Following their previously announced spring tour of the states, plus a slew of summer festival appearances across Europe, Alex Turner and co. will launch their newest leg beginning August 1st in Dallas, TX. Stops in Austin and Houston follow, with the band then hitting Chicago on August 6th for what seems to be a Lollapalooza aftershow, meaning an appearance at the festival also appears a lock. After that, it’s stops in Seattle and Portland before the Monkeys play two shows in San Francisco, including an appearance at Outside Lands 2011. Find all confirmed tour dates below.
