In this second installment, Hood discusses how Jerry Wexler tried to get the band to leave Muscle Shoals. He also talks about recording a version of the Beatles’ “Let It Be” with Aretha Franklin before the Fab Four, as well as what it was like working with the Staple Singers – including introducing Mavis Staples to marijuana.
