The New York art rock trio will be sticking mostly to the West Coast for this month-long road trip. Beginning in Winnipeg on June 20th, Blonde Redhead will play the first four dates in Canada. The band will then continue on downward for a tour of the major U.S. coastal markets, starting with Seattle. The following day the band is in Portland, and it closes out June with two-night stand in the S.F. Bay Area. After shows at L.A.’s Echoplex and El Rey and an appearance at the Henry Miller Library in Big Sur, there is plenty of room for July additions before the final stops in Chicago on the 18th and 19th.
And of course, don’t forget next month Blonde Redhead teams up with fellow New Yorkers Interpol for a hometown show at Terminal 5. That show is already on sale, as are the dates at the Bottom Lounge, the Echoplex, and Henry Miller Library.
