Another spoonful of delightful Norwegian folk rock from Sondre Lerche is served. His forthcoming self-titled LP will be his 6th since 2001, and “Private Caller” is the second helping from the album (via TwentyFourBit). It showcases Lerche’s best traits as a songwriter — astute lyrics coupled with a toe-tapping jangle underneath. Check out the tune below.

Sondre Lerche’s self titled album is out June 7th via Mona Records, which you can pre-order here. The first single, “Domino”, as well as “Private Caller” are also available for purchase via iTunes.
