For those lucky enough to travel to London to see The Flaming Lips, Deerhoof, and Dinosaur Jr. perform their most critically acclaimed albums front to back on July 11th — well, go fly a kite! Luckily for the rest of us, scattered throughout the US, these bands will be giving little tastes of The Soft Bulletin, Milk Man, and Bug respectively surrounding the All Tomorrow’s Parties “Don’t Look Back” series at London Alexandra Palace.

Dinosaur Jr. recently announced that their classic 1988 Bug will get some stage time in the states, supported by a grip of incredible special guests (via Pitchfork). Accompanying J Mascis and his seminal 90′s indie band on select nights will be OFF!, Sonic Youth’s Thurston Moore, and Fucked Up, as well as one Henry Rollins tagging along to interview the whole of Dinosaur Jr. If that doesn’t promise to be a night of nostalgic reminiscence of a time when things truly rocked — well, I’ll go fly a kite.

Check out the dates below. Tickets go on sale beginning Friday, April 8th via Ticketmaster.

Chicago, L.A. and like, hundreds of other cities were snubbed from this special performance, but Chicago does have The Flaming Lips performing The Soft Bulletin after the ATP gig July 7th and 8th at the Aragon Ballroom, if you’ve more the means for that.
