Foo Fighters might have the #1 album in the land, but the band is showing no signs of slowing down. For one, Dave Grohl and co. will release their new documentary, Back and Forth, on DVD and Blu-ray on June 14th through Best Buy retailers. Other retailers will begin selling the DVD and Blu-ray editions on July 12th.
Update: The film will also be released digitally via iTunes on June 7th. Also, the DVD and Blu-ray editions feature 35 minutes of extras including additional interviews and deleted scenes.
As previously reported, the James Moll-directed film chronicles the entire history of the Foo Fighters “from the cassette demos Grohl recorded during his tenure as Nirvana’s drummer through their ascent to [becoming] one of the biggest rock bands on the planet.” Pre-orders are now ongoing at Amazon.com.
The band also recently stopped by Fuse to debut the winners of their “My Video Sucks” contest. The promotion called on aspiring directors to make videos for each track off the band’s new album, Wasting Light. Below, you can watch the clip for “White Limo”, which features a cameo by singer-songwriter Kaki King. (She’s the one head banging at the 2:20 mark).
