Nathan Followill and Dave Grohl may share a minute disdain for the hit televesion show Glee, but that’s apparently not all the two have in common. NME reports that Followill’s band – Kings of Leon – will soon follow the Foo Fighters’ lead and unveil a full-on documentary detailing their entire career.

Named for a city in Oklahoma, the film – titled Talihina Sky: The Story of The Kings Of Leon – has yet to be completely finished, but will screen as a “work-in-progress” as a part of New York City’s Tribeca Film Festival, which takes place from April 20th to May 1st in lower Manhattan.

A press release describes the Stephen C. Miller-directed rock documentary as a flick aimed at fans and non-fans alike that will “remind [viewers] that [the band] will never forget their Pentecostal upbringing or rough-and-tumble backcountry roots.” Talihina Sky will show as a special screening, and while there is no official release date on the film, David Kwok, Director of Programming for the film festival, said that he was thrilled to include the film in the lineup, adding that it “complements the program well.”

Ticketing information regarding the fest can be had here, but those who can’t make it to the Big Apple are just going to have to settle for the trailer, which is streaming below. In the meantime, the Kings have added a couple of dates to their already announced world tour. The bad news for stateside fans? They’re in South Africa.

Regardless, tickets for select stops are still available at SeatGeek, and a full itinerary is listed below the trailer.
