Having Liz Phair guest on his latest album – People Like Us – is enough to make more than a handful of girls and guys jealous, but now Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter Bryan Master has released a little clip that suggests that it’s not all rainbows and butterflies on the strummy folk-singer side of the street. Just check out the video for the track “Let Me Come In”.
The album version features Phair (who we interviewed back in October), but the video is visually devoid of the 43-year-old Connecticut-based chanteuse. Instead, Master can be found assisting what looks like his live-in significant other with a home paint job. The opening seconds of the video mysteriously find him choosing a large kitchen knife instead of a paintbrush, but the outcome isn’t as gruesome as the intro might suggest. What “Let Me Come In” does show is Master getting paint dripped all over him as the room gets a makeover. It’s all strange, and it’s all streaming for your viewing pleasure above.
