The video, directed by Santiago Mostyn, reflects the sparseness of the track with fog swirling amongst South African mountains, some ghostly ballerinas, and reverse fireworks. The dissonance between sound and images is intended to bolster the feeling of the song while giving it “some space to breathe.” Check out the premiere over at Cluster 1.
As has been the group’s way since they hit the scene in 2008, Dark Dark Dark continues to tour extensively in support of Wild Go. Next up will be a one-off Omaha tomorrow night before a slew of west coast dates with Why Are We Building Such A Big Ship? and Y La Bamba. They’ll then cross the pond to support Black Heart Procession in the UK before traveling through Europe to play with Elysian Fields in France and support The National in Portugal and Low in Germany. Dark Dark Dark will also play bunch of European festivals before they return to North America for the Calgary Folk Festival. These guys sure like to keep on the road.
Check out the complete tour schedule below plus the video premiere for “Wild Go” at Cluster 1. Pick up Wild Go now via Supply & Demand Music, and follow Cluster 1 on Facebook and Twitter.
