In gearing up for the big May debut of their fifth LP, Eye Contact, Gang Gang Dance are brightening early April with a few gifts to fans. First, head to the band’s official site to download the track “MindKilla”. The five-minute cut is a bright, shiny display of rhythmic joy; plus, with lyrics borrowed from “Hush Little Baby”, you’ll never look at sleep the same way. After you’ve procured your own copy, check out the “MindKilla” video above. Like its accompanying track, it’s weird, wacky, and oh so wonderful (what else would you expect from a video directed by Shoji Goto of the Boredoms?).

Gang Gang Dance will be releasing “MindKilla” as a 12″ on April 12th. The other side of the single will feature the 11-minute “Glass Jar”, which dropped last month. Eye Contact itself hits stores May 10th via 4AD.
