When Dylan plugged in with his band during his 1964 show in Manchester, it was an epochal moment in rock and roll. Not to say that Kristian Matsson, under the sobriquet The Tallest Man On Earth, doing the same thing will usher in a new zeitgeist, but it’s a pretty rare and special occasion. In his home-country of Sweden earlier this week, Matsson, backed by some light drums and bass, debuted a new song possibly titled “There’s No Leaving Now” (via TwentyFourBit). Continuing where “Kids On The Run” left off on his last LP The Wild Hunt, Matsson pours it out into the piano and mic for another beautiful song to add to his repertoire.
