When we last heard from the Brooklyn-based outfit, they had announced a “long break,” only to return three months later to perform a new song on Jimmy Fallon. But that was in 2009, and the band’s frontman, Alec Ounsworth, announced a solo project shortly thereafter.
End of the Road is billed as the band’s only UK festival appearance. There’s no word if that means other non-festival dates are coming, but we’ll keep you updated.
Set September 2nd-4th at the Larmer Tree Gardens in Wiltshire, UK, the festival will also feature Joanna Newsom, Beirut, and Mogwai, all of whom will headline, along with Megafaun, Joan As Policewoman, Cass McCombs, The Walkmen, Wild Beasts, tUnE-yArDs, Zola Jesus, and The Love Language.
Adult weekend passes are priced at £145 and remain on sale via the festival’s website.
