While others their age are off preparing for prom, Denmark’s punk teens Iceage have plotted out their first-ever shows on this side of the Atlantic. The group of 18 and 19-year-olds from Copenhagen are set to hit the states for a six city jaunt amidst their spring European tour. The announcement comes on the heels of the North American release of New Brigade, the group’s debut album which was released in Denmark late last year.
The trek launches with an appearance at Brooklyn’s Northside Festival on June 17th and then sees band hitting Philadelphia, Baltimore, Pittsburgh, and New Haven before wrapping up in Boston on June 24th.
New Brigade will receive its official North American release on June 21st via What’s Your Rupture?. Below, you can stream the album’s first single, “White Rune”, as well as the band’s full touring itinerary.
