It’s quite fitting that Ms. Lauryn Hill made an appearance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. The 35-year-old songstress has a mean reputation for being tardy, but it’s safe to say that her handlers got her to Studio 6B in a timely manner yesterday afternoon. She appeared on the program as a part of Fallon’s Bob Marley week (Wednesday marked the 30-year anniversary of Marley’s death), and her performances of two Marley classics proved that practice does make one more perfect.

Despite drawing early reviews that described a stage show with a multitude of kinks to work out, Hill continues to work things out as she play small clubs a part of her Moving Target Tour. The hard work seems to be paying off. L-Boogie was still coaxing her band to step up, but seemed to be having much more fun as she belted out “Chances Are” and “Could You Be Loved”. The Audio Perv has posted both videos and Ms. Hill can be seen smiling and dancing as her band and backup singers try to keep her happy; harmonizing and working through rather faithful versions of both cuts, which are streaming below.

Hill has a handful of dates left on her current run of tour stops, which are listed below. Tickets for select stops are available at Seatgeek.
