Peter Bjorn and John map out “All You Can Eat” tour

on May 25, 2011, 4:25pm

A lot of foreigners like coming stateside, but Peter Bjorn and John must really love America. In fact, when one considers their recent allegiance to Bud Light Lime, it wouldn’t be surprising to find out that the trio of Swedes from Stockholm have dual citizenship, and one look at their newly announced fall tour makes their love for the U-S-of-A that much more obvious.

That’s right. Peter Bjorn and John – whose latest album is titled Gimme Some – are out to get some and back up the name of their “All You Can Eat Tour” with an autumn tour itinerary that only gives them 11 days of rest over five weeks. The journey even includes three Canadian stops (two Toronto dates and a Montreal show), but the most interesting thing about PB&J’s fall plans are the mini-traveling residencies they’ve scheduled in three of the country’s most storied municipalities.

In addition to the four dates in Chicago, the band has also penciled in six shows at six different venues throughout the New York/New Jersey area and four shows in Los Angeles that also find the boys playing four different spots in as many days. While there aren’t any plans to hit up the plains region of the States on this run, every other part of America is set to get their piece of the pie as the tour also stops in Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, New Orleans, and even Florida. Check out the band’s complete touring schedule below.

Tickets to most of the shows are in the $20-$25 range and some dates are already have on sale. Other venues will put tickets on sale later this week, and more information is available through PB&J’s official website.

Ha!  I bet they announce something soon though… but I’m guessing that it will be super limited and involve one of the three festivals that are taking place in the U.S. southeast this fall.

ghost that never lies…

Sweet, glad someone has balls to book bands down in South Florida….obviously LN doesn’t

Bardot has booked Junip too I’m intrigued and I hope they keep booking some good indie talent

LN actually did better over the course of 2010 than they have so far this year.  2011 has been a big musical letdown for South Florida so far… except for that NOFX/Bouncing Souls show at Revolution.

Radiohead take note. That’s what a tour should look like

Hahahaha!  (They are not listening.)
