While speaking to the Los Angeles Times’ Pop & Hiss blog, Peter Murphy recently boasted, “I’m not ashamed to claim that I’m the last and only star. I totally believe that. That’s how I live my life. People should witness it while I’m still gorgeous enough.” Well, hell, if that had been mentioned earlier, maybe you’d have made a bigger point to check out the former Bauhaus singer on his recent tour. Good thing he’s giving you another chance to bask in his splendor.

On June 7th, Murphy’s Ninth hits stores, and he’ll hit J&R Music World in New York to play an acoustic in-store performance. Following that, he’ll play seven Californian dates, including San Diego, Pioneertown, San Francisco, Sacramento and L.A. Two other dates, in L.A. on June 16th and San Fran on the 23rd, will also be in-store appearances.

The tour announcement came as his label, Nettwerk Music Group, released his second Ninth single, “Seesaw Sway”, which you can stream below. Murphy previously revealed “I Spit Roses”, in addition to three other tracks which can be found here.
