Update: For those who missed the webcast, you can rewatch it below.

While a release date for the first Jane’s Addiction album in eight years is still forthcoming, we may get to preview some more tracks when they play a live-streaming concert later tonight. The performance comes as part of the After Hours party for the Google I/O Developer Conference in San Francisco. Local DJs Mark Farina and Miguel Migs will also be part of the HD-streamed event.

Sure to be filled with requisite hits, how much of the setlist will be tracks off The Great Escape Artist? Will TV on the Radio’s Dave Sitek make an appearance, or will it be semi-regular touring bassist Chris Chaney (Strays)? Find out by watching here between 7:30 and 9:30 P.M. PDT (that’s Pacific time, folks). Click over early to watch one of the silliest countdown clocks ever (leave it to Google, huh?), and learn more about Google I/O.
