During this year’s South by Southwest, Moby sat down with Consequence of Sound’s own Michael Roffman and announced that if fans are going to be stealing music, then steal his and spend the $10 on an indie band that could use the money. With his latest effort just seven days away, Moby is keeping everything legit, and has offered up a stream of his latest LP, Destroyed, in its entirety at the album’s new microsite.

Aside from the album’s 15 tracks, the site also features the Destroyed photography project and the ability for fans to submit their own pictures by tagging Instagram uploads with #destroyed and their location.

For those in New York, this is just the beginning of an event-filled week, celebrating the album’s release. On Wednesday, May 11th, “Destroyed: Photographs by Moby” opens at New York City’s Clic Gallery with Moby on site for a book signing. The exhibition will run through June 26th. On May 12th, Moby will sit down at the Brooklyn Museum with John Schaefer as a part of the museum’s Thursday @ 7 Series. The evening will also include a live sneak preview of songs off Destroyed and a screening of Moby’s self-directed/produced Be The One EP videos. Tickets for the Brooklyn Museum event are still available here.

Destroyed officially drops May 17th and pre-orders can be placed via Moby’s site. Below, you can watch our interview with Moby:
