STRFKR – “Julius”

A Cluster 1 Premiere!

Imagine what The Legend of Zelda soundtrack would sound like in band-form this year. That’s what you get when you hear electro indie rockers Starfucker (or STRFKR — take your pick). The next single off the Portland, OR-based quartet’s sophomore LP, Reptilians, reminds one of the synthy sounds that accompany Link along his way to find Princess Zelda. The video for ”Julius” is a teenage crush-cum-medieval adventure that sees our hero on a quest to save his lady from the evil ruler of the forest (sound familliar?). Between each scene are shots of Starfucker set in the background shrouded in black hoods, telling the story of young “Julius” during his journey.

Does he save his lady fair? Only one way to find out. Head on over to Cluster 1 to stream the full video for “Julius.” The full tracklist for Reptilians can be found below.
