When the DJ duo known as Thievery Corporation take the stage, which they’ll be doing a lot of starting shortly, it’s usually a massively powerful and sweeping demonstration of musical majesty. Those lucky concert and festival attendees (all 5 million of you) who enter the pit this summer to witness Rob Garza and Eric Hilton do their thing get the added bonus of seeing the outfit unveil new music from their upcoming LP , Culture of Fear, which drops June 28th via ESL Music. Now who’s complaining about having to wait around for a set to start?

The record, the follow-up to 2008′s Radio Retaliation, will see the outfit expand upon their work as genre-blenders, creating an effort where “space-rock jams lead to hip-hop inspired grooves, airy downtemp trances and dub-reggae infused vibes throughout the journey,” according to an issued press release. Guests on the album include long-time collaborator Lou Lou and Boston rapper Mr. Lif.

While a full length preview is still forthcoming, the band did offer up a mash-up of all the album’s tracks, which is available for deciphering below. Also find group’s entire tour schedule; stops include gigs at Wakarusa, the Dave Matthews Band Caravan in Atlantic City, NJ, and a slot at the North Coast Music Fest.
