Via a freestyle, Kanye West warned us that there would be no major tour behind My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. Instead, festival appearances will be the only opportunities to see the Chicago MC support his masterful fifth LP. Having already conquered South by Southwest, Lollapalooza Chile, and Coachella, West’s latest headlining venture came last night at the Festival Mawazine: Rhythms Of The World, an eight-day music festival in Rabat, Morocco funded by the country’s King Mohammed VI.
According to MTV, West performed a 45-minute two-hour show in front of nearly 100,000 festivalgoers. Below, you can watch clips from the television airing of the concert, which included performances of “Power”, “Jesus Walks”, “All of the Lights”, “Stronger”, “E.T.”, “Through the Wire”, “All Falls Down”, “Touch the Sky”, and “Gold Digger”.
West’s next scheduled gig is at the Milwaukee-based Summerfest on June 30th. He’s also confirmed to play New Orlean’s Essence Festival and Austin City Limits on July 2nd and September 16th, respectively, as well as a slew of European and Australian festivals.
