In a way to appease fans, and possibly to recreate some of Lil Wayne’s magic, rapper T.I., who is serving 11 months in an Atlanta prison for violating probation on gun charges, has teamed up with the considerably less imprisoned B.o.B. to drop “We Don’t Get Down Like Y’all” from the slammer.

While Weezy doled out new hits from the big house, T.I.’s latest offering was written and recorded right after the Grand Hustle CEO’s release from prison in December 2009. Even without that awesome jailhouse vibe to it, it’s your standard Tip banger that boasts his superiority on the mic.

The MC decided to put the anthem together after “the differences in how we do us and how they do them suddenly became incredibly evident in just a very short period of time.” Right, so for anyone wondering, the real differences between T.I. and other MCs are enough to fill a six foot by eight foot cell.

Check out the track at TrapMuzik. T.I. is scheduled to be released from prison later this year.
