Continuing with our discussion on the evolution of chip music, we veer into what was behind the making of the Kraftwerk tribute compilation. Kolosine talks about Kraftwerk’s involvement in the project, specifically co-leader Ralf Hutter’s input, as well as his reaction to people’s befuddlement of “covering an electronic band even more electronically.”
