The National have been touring behind their sensational fifth LP, High Violet, for a good year now and they’re showing no signs of slowing down. Later this month, the Brooklyn-based outfit will hit Europe for a summer full of headlining shows and festival appearances. Then, come September 6th, they’ll return stateside for five just-announced U.S. performances. Included are stops in Columbia, MD, Philadelphia, PA, and Boston, MA, all of which will also feature Yo La Tengo and Wye Oak, with the fifth and final gig set for the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, CA with Neko Case and Sharon Van Etten.
