Watch: Belle & Sebastian – “Come On Sister”

Almost nothing beats seeing Belle & Sebastian playing live from dreary Glasgow or making a cemetery all that more depressing. Switching gears, though, the band have released a video for a Tony Doogan remix of “Come On Sister” (from Belle and Sebastian Write About Love) that elicits an emotional response almost unheard of from the band: laughter. Featuring all seven band members “faced with the grim realities of life off the road,” the group is forced to work at a recycling center, schlepp ice cream to annoying kids, and take jobs as dentists/weird foreign denture cleaners. We’re almost certain Bono does none of these when U2′s not touring.

In addition, the band will be premiering an animated clip for “I Didn’t See It Coming” by artist Lesley Barnes at the Glasgow coffee shop Offshore on June 15th. Head to the shop’s official site for more details and check out the flier below.
