As part of their appearance on VH1′s Unplugged, Mumford & Sons took a stab at The National‘s High Violet masterpiece “England”. The result, which you can watch in the video above (via EW.com), may actually surprise you.

    wow.. just fantastic.. just build and builds.. until an explosion at the end..   i always loved the national version of that song… and i am quite pleased that mumford chose it for their cover..
