You’ve been waiting for this one: Portishead has announced plans for their first North American tour in three years. Having already conquered Europe, the acclaimed outfit will hit the states for a month worth of dates in October. Kicking off on the first of the month with an appearance at ATP’s I’ll Be Your Mirror in Asbury Park, NJ, Portishead will then hit New York City, Toronto, Montreal, and Chicago before capping off their travels out west. Find all Portishead’s confirmed tour dates below.

A limited run of tickets are available for purchase through Portishead’s website from July 11-14. The remaining tickets go on sale to the general public July 15th and 16th, with the exception of Chicago, which goes on sale July 22nd.

Their last announced show is right before Moogfest, and Geoff Barrow will be there with BEAK> anyway, so I’m really hoping for a soon-to-be-announced Portishead appearance in Asheville.

Really? So you aren’t the same guys who jump down my back when I put ‘North American Tour’ and there are only two Canadian dates? Because it happens all the time…
