Prior to this year’s Move Like This, The Cars‘ last album was 1987′s Door to Door. Back then, music videos involved Mötley Crüe at a strip club or an overly dramatic Madonna. And while things have thankfully changed for the better, the band are continuing to keep it simple with the basic “life on the road/concert footage” concept for the music video for “Free”. Shot during the band’s recent 11-date North American tour, the clip sees Ric Ocasek and the boys doing what they put off for nearly a quarter of a century: rocking out on stage.
