Hot on the heels of this past March’s Trash Hit, New York scuzz-rockers Mr. Dream return with a new song in “Moneybags”. The track is more of the same uninhibited rock and roll, with a slightly playful New York Dolls tinge to it.

” ‘Moneybags’ is a continuation of songs like ‘Scarred For Life’ and ‘Croquet’, super poppy but still very aggressive,” drummer Nick Sylvester told Stereogum. “That’s basically the line on the next LP too. Tentatively, it’s titled Montreal Sex Machine.”

In addition to this track, Sylvester and bassist Matt Morello also wrote the music for a brand new Foot Locker commercial. Check that clip out just below “Moneybags”.
