Despite having played intermittent festival dates over the past few years, including a well-regarded late-night set at this year’s Bonnaroo, it’s been a good four years since jam band legends The String Cheese Incident have gone on a multi-city headlining tour.
Well, sigh no more, SCI fans. This fall, the prolific group will be hitting the road for a nine-date tour that hopes to capitalize on the momentum they’ve built up from their sporadic performances, both on their own and at festivals. The outing has been dubbed the “Roots Run Deep Tour,” of which the initial leg kicks off on Nov. 25th in Ashville, NC and runs up and down the East Coast until early December at the Orpheum in Boston. And for Nashville fans, the band will be playing an extra acoustic set first in addition to the usual shenanigans.
And, as per the norm with the band, a live recording of each incident will be available for download via the website for the band’s live archive. Check out the full list of dates below.
