Chaz Bundick (aka Toro y Moi) has been at the forefront of the “chillwave” scene since day one. You can chalk a decent portion of that up to his charming imagination, which he struts in confident fashion here. The video for Underneath the Pine‘s sunbathed ditty “How I Know” is like a slightly more violent, hipster-friendly episode of Casper the Friendly Ghost – with electric spaghetti, killer DVDs, and death by bubble gum to boot.
