This video comes off as though the production designer was the Easter Bunny’s Halmark reps. Good lord on those pastels! The only thing more eye-catching in “Why Can’t We” is everybody’s outfits. Within the context of this video, several people strut their moves on an American Bandstand/Soul Train type of show, all while rocking to Asa‘s slow and catchy grooves. Towards the end though, everything gets truly fresh.
