Check Out: Three unreleased Nirvana tracks

By Michael Roffman on September 20th, 2011 in Check Out, News

This week, Nirvana‘s breakthrough smash Nevermind turns 20. (You know, if you couldn’t tell already.) Between a town hall meeting with its surviving members, a VH1 special, and one deluxe reissue, fans of the iconic Seattle trio have their ears full of material to handle. For those who can’t wait to hear the exclusive demos and rarities off the forthcoming reissue – due out next week on September 27th – 107.7 The End has three exclusive streams of unreleased material. Early cuts of “Breed”, ”On a Plain”, and “Smells Like Teen Spirit”, specifically. “Breed”, culled from the Smart Studios sessions, is particularly awesome in that it sounds like it belongs on Nirvana’s debut LP, Bleach. Check it out here, and stay tuned for more Nirvana coverage as we roll it out this week.

Nevermind returns to stores September 27th (via Geffen).
