How does Jimmy Fallon follow up a week in which he paid tribute to Pink Floyd by having Foo Fighters with Roger Waters, Pearl Jam, The Shins, and MGMT cover the band’s songs? With Radiohead and Portishead, of course.

According to Radiohead fan site At Ease, the band will follow up their recent stops at Saturday Night Live and The Colbert Report with an October 3rd appearance on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, where they will play “Give Up The Ghost”. Then, two days later on October 5th, their UK colleagues, Portishead, will play the show, reports the usually reliable Late Night TV Page.

Below, you can watch Radiohead play “The National Anthem” on The Colbert Report. Also, if you missed it, check out our review of the band’s show at the Roseland Ballroom last night.

I’ll be honest, I never cared for Jimmy Fallon while on SNL.  In fact, better word would be “despised”.  But I have to admit that he really seems to have found his own unique persona with his talk show, and fuck… there has never been a late night talk show with a more consistent and constant stream of A Tier talent.  You’re finally doing it right, Jimmy.  In fact, you’re doing better than any before you.
