Last night at the Townhouse in Los Angeles, indie-rock songstress Leslie Feist previewed songs from her upcoming LP Metals during a surprise performance. Below, via YouTube user mytraveltales, watch videos of her performing the album’s lead single, “How Come You Never Go There”, along with the track “A Commotion”. Update: We now have live clips for three more songs from Metals: “Graveyard”, “Bittersweet Melodies”, and “Woe Be”. Check out everything below.

Also, as our reader Jgmeath points out, Vermont folk-rock trio Mountain Main are currently serving as Feist’s live backing band.

It’s ridiculous how completely in tune Feist’s voice is, even on home made youtube clips it’s perfect. Thanks for the post, can’t wait to see her on tour this fall!
