On Thursday night, Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl and Taylor Hawkins stopped by Conan, where they not only performed (“Walk”), but also discussed various atypical “everyday happenings” like getting a speeding ticket from an anti-Team Coco police officer, dressing up as Amy Carter kicking off what has become a long career in drag, and putting together a rock documentary about a band with, and to quote Mr. Grohl, “the stupidest fucking band name ever.” As usual with anything from this troupe, it’s downright entertaining. Band of the year? Well, we won’t say it now, but offer us some other alternatives, because…we’re all out of ‘em.
