Prior to their European tour, the Red Hot Chili Peppers stopped by London for a televised gig on BBC Radio 1. Titled Red Hot Chili Peppers: Live at Koko, the event naturally saw the LA rockers plucking songs off their latest studio effort, I’m With You, but they also threw out a new cover, Neil Young’s “Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere”. Jangly, bouncy, and bubbly, the cover doesn’t stray too far away from its original cut, which is culled from Young’s second sophomore LP of the same name. But frontman Anthony Kiedis does add some sheen to it. Less rust, more chrome. Check it out below (via Cover Me).
