 Chairlift readies Something for sophomore album

Brooklyn electro-pop outfit Chairlift are finally ready to follow up their 2008 debut, Does You Inspire You. On January 24th, 2012, the now duo of Caroline Polachek and Patrick Wimberly (guitarist Aaron Pfenning has left the band to focus on solo project Rewards) will make their Columbia Records debut with the release of Something. Yes, Something is the title.

For a sneak peak of what’s to come, the band recently unveiled the music video for “Amanaemonesia”, which features Polachek engaging in interpretive dance that would make Thom Yorke jealous. Check that video out along with their upcoming tour dates below.
