the cranberries Check Out: The Cranberries Show Me the Way

Another reunion to look forward to in 2012, The Cranberries return today with their first taste of new music in 10 years. Off their forthcoming sixth studio LP, Roses, “Show Me the Way” sees vocalist Dolores O’Riordan asking you to show her various things (e.g. the night’s end, tomorrow, the path, etc.) that all amount to “the way.” Like plenty of Cranberries tracks before it, there are copious amounts of atmospheric guitar work, though this time they’ve borrowed the violins from the Eurythmics. And, no, it’s not a Peter Frampton cover. You can listen to it now for just an e-mail address, see below.

Roses hits stores February 14, 2012 (via Cooking Vinyl/Downtown).
