After hitting the road with his very own traveling festival this summer and having to reschedule the climactic Governor’s Island date due to some tropical chick named Irene, it’s only fitting that Dave Matthews would want to mellow out for a bit. Thankfully, there’s no better way to take it easy than with a pair of solo acoustic shows alongside fellow guitar-maestro Tim Reynolds.
On November 18th and 19th, the two will play a pair of East coast gigs, beginning with New York’s United Palace and following the next day at Wallingford, CT’s Oakdale Theatre. The New York date will also serve as a benefit concert as fans will be given the opportunity to donate all costs of the ticket to any charity of their choosing through JustGive and their online donation platform. FYI: JustGive is a non-profit organization with access to over 1.8 million charities, so you’ll have plenty to choose from.
Members of Dave Matthews Band’s Warehouse will be able to request tickets for the New York show from now until October 25th at 10 am ET. Warehouse members who wish to attend the Connecticut show will be able to do the same beginning today with the request period ending on the 27th. Click here for more Warehouse ticketing information. Tickets will go on sale to the general public via Ticketmaster for the New York and Connecticut shows on October 28th and 29th, respectively. Also of note, VIP packages are available for both nights.
