Two apparent early demos by Radiohead have hit the web, as Poptart, What’s Our Mission? points out. Available to stream below, both “Everybody Knows” and “Girl (In The Purple Dress)” date back to 1986, when Radiohead was still known by their original name, On A Friday. Also, according to YouTube user klootime, who uploaded both tracks, the demo tape was recorded before guitarist Jonny Greenwood joined the band.

for what? any real fan can recognize Thom Yorke’s voice and if you’ve ever heard the other 1986 demo’s this is exactly what Radiohead sounded like back then
